Bringing the world to Galapagos and Galapagos to the world

Visit

NORTH SEYMOUR ISLAND

This is a full day tour departing from Santa Cruz Island, like an animal planet encounter tour, you will be so close to many Galapagos unique animals.

Tour Highlights:

Wildlife Encounters:

  • Blue-Footed Boobies: One of the main attractions, these iconic birds are known for their distinctive blue feet and unique courtship dance. You’ll have the chance to see them up close, especially during their breeding season.
  • Frigatebirds: The island is home to a large colony of frigatebirds, recognizable by the males’ bright red throat pouches, which they inflate to attract females.
  • Land Iguanas: North Seymour is one of the few places where you can spot the Galápagos land iguana, a species that was successfully reintroduced to the island.
  • Sea Lions: These playful creatures can be seen lounging on the shore or swimming in the waters around the island. Their curious nature often leads to close encounters with visitors.

The tour includes a guided walk along a well-marked trail that loops through the island. The trail offers breathtaking views of the coast and passes through various habitats, including rocky shores, coastal forests, and open areas dotted with Palo Santo trees.

Snorkeling Opportunity:

    • After exploring the island, many tours offer a snorkeling session in the surrounding waters. Here, you can swim with sea turtles, rays, colorful fish, and possibly even small reef sharks in the clear, turquoise waters.

You will have LUNCH on board enjoying local gastronomy and unique landscape.
