Day 3: Isabela Island

Travel to Isabela Island observing the wonderful landscape that offers the volcanic escenario of the island and the flight above the islands. Within 45 min you will be in the west part of the Galapagos, the island with espectacular wildlife.

This bay tour consists of a short walk to observe the species, a boat ride to see the penguins and birds, and finally the snorkeling activity where you can observe sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, rays, whitetip sharks, fish, etc.

Sulfur fumaroles inside of an active caldera in Sierra Negra Volcano

Visit the active zone. The tour consists of a walk to observe the majestic 9x7 km diameter caldera of the active volcano with the third largest active caldera in the world, you will be able to observe sulfur fumaroles, sulfur crystallization, lava fields.

After approximately 40 minutes of navigation, we will arrive at the place where the water is shallow, calm, and very clear to observe the rock formations that a series of arches and tunnels has produced from volcanic eruptions, where nowadays a large number of Galapagos endemic species inhabit.
